The Decomposeurs is a music group that writes and performs sardonic songs about aging — hilarious, wistful, cheeky — with music that ranges from folk to country to pop to rock. With songs like “Hurt Myself In Bed,” “Sagging Tattoo,” “Shut Up And Enjoy The Ride,” and “End Of Life Crisis” The Decomposeurs describe life’s later years like no one else.

Born out of an original film script, and then a stage production of the same name, The Decomposeurs (in the show) is comprised of advertising executives unceremoniously canned from their jobs just a few years from retirement.

Finding themselves in that trap of being too old to relocate or reinvent themselves and too young to retire, they give it a go singing their unusual brand of auditory commentary.

Performing live as well, The Decomposeurs is comprised of founder Mitch Cantor (who wrote the film/show) on guitar and vocals, Milt Gore on violin and mandolin, Will Woltz on guitar, Brandt Barretto on bass, and Lee Hines on drums and percussion.
